GUITAR PERSPECTIVES
Guitar Perspectives is an international festival, academic conference and yearly concert series at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (MCM), part of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music at The University of Melbourne.
Since 2012, Guitar Perspectives has promoted the diversity and excellence of concert guitarists showcasing a range of contemporary and classical musical styles.

Conservatorium Postgraduate Guitar Showcase
Friday April 23, 2021 from 7pm - 8pm.

PhD and Masters guitar students (classical, cavaquinho, flamenco, lute and 7 string) present this showcase of music tied to their postgraduate research at the Conservatorium of Music.
Current MCM students Adam May (cavaquinho), Gerard Mapstone (flamenco), Max Rudd (7 string guitar), Alejandro Duque (classical guitar), Sophie Marcheff (classical guitar), Casey Fitzpatrick (lute) and Tom Stewart-Toner (classical guitar).
Leading Edge Guitar Ensemble - Homenaje

The MCM Leading Edge Guitar Ensemble perform works by Manuel de Falla, Claude Debussy, Steve Goss and more. The ensemble is directed by Head of Guitar, Dr. Ken Murray and features undergraduate guitar students of MCM.
